Verona is home to some of the most charming public piazzas in the whole of Italy. These are places where people meet, come to interact, enjoy public life, and explore the beauty of the city. Piazza Delle Erbe, a square that served as the city’s forum during the Roman Empire, is by far the most famous of the piazzas. It’s an excellent place to relax and enjoy the day, especially with the selection of restaurants and cafes for food and marble statues and fountains for inspiration. Piazza Bra is the largest of the piazzas with locations on the tourist’s central area. It’s a great place to start your tour and shopping.
