Most photos that feature the Egyptian Pyramids often focus on them and show desert all around them. This is all about perspective. The truth is the city of Cairo surrounds the pyramids and is an incredible sight to see both in one photo. Antiquity is an endless treasure in which the more you search, the more years pass, new discoveries come to light. So it is with the history of Egypt and the pyramids, which in their grandeur hide the history, culture, socio-economic development of this country and its impact on the whole world. From the discoveries that have been made, it shows that the pyramids have their beginnings in the years 2630-2610 BC, mainly in Saqqara, northwest of Memphis, theformer ancient capital of Egypt at the time. Located on the banks of the Nile, it has played a very important commercial and religious role throughout the ancient kingdom. Later, after the rise of Alexandria, the ancient capital of Egypt lost its economic and religious significance, the ruins of which are today a site of world heritage. The list of pyramid numbers has not remained unchanged since 1842 when it was 67 and then in 2008 it was 118 and we hope that more will be found, enriching the world heritage. The pyramids were built on the western side of the Nile River on the plateau of the Saqqaresa desert, which has to do with mythology and the ease of construction. The Giza Pyramid Group is a group of the most visited pyramids. The Pyramid of Khufu, one of the three pyramids of Giza, is considered one of the wonders of the world. There are many pyramids such as the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkaure, the Great Statue of the Sphinx and more. The pyramids are the royal crown of ancient Egypt, a treasure of world heritage.Click the next ARROW to see the next photo!
