The great wall of China is nearly 4000 miles long and thanks to its size it’s hard to imagine that it ever ends. However, it does end when the wall reaches the sea. The great wall of China or the “Dragon Land” sich was called was built for a long time with its beginnings in the 7th century BC and mainly in the years 1368-1644 under the Ming dynasty to protect itself from barbaric attacks of the nomadic northern tribes. It as a symbol of Chinese power stretches from Hushan in the east to Pass Jiayuguan in the west and carries the historical enigmas of a transition period for China. The Great Wall of China in 1987 was declared by UNESCO as one of the World Heritage Sites with great architectural and historical values, which attracted the attention of tourists from all over the world. The Great Wall as the only miracle created by human hands to date with a height of 5-15m and a width of 5-6m in some sections, it is said that it can be seen from the moon, but how true this is I do not know. How long does it take to visit the Great Wall? I don’t know, it depends on what you want to explore. I recommend you to see the part of the wall in Shanhai Pass called ‘The Head of the Old Dragon’, in Jinshanling and Simatai. I hope you will be satisfied. Click the next ARROW to see the next photo!
