Museo di Capodimonte is one of the largest museums in Italy offering visitors a unique experience. It was commissioned in 1738 by King Charles VII, whose intentions is to find a permanent place to house art collections by his family. Within this magnificent property, you’ll find a priceless collection of Greek and Roman antiquities like no other place. It also features paintings by top-rated artists from the 13th century to the 18th century including Raphael, Titian, Caravaggio, and others. The Blind Leading the Blind Painting by Pieter Bruegel the Elder and Pope Paul III and His Grandsons are two of the most iconic works of art in the museum.
