The Mercato Vintage on the Piazza Santo Stefano is an excellent destination where visitors can buy all sorts of cool stuff, including furniture, antiques, and so on. However, you should know that the place is not opened in the months of January, July, and August. Apart from the flea market, you can also take part in the antique market that takes place on Thursdays, and the street market with vintage fashion that occurs on Fridays and Saturdays. Taking place in the village of medicina is one of the most popular and largest flea markets in Bologna. There are over 300 exhibitors occupying gardens and squares, selling all sorts of things found under the sun. Sometimes, buying here can be a bit expensive because of the competition for great stuff. However, if you want to buy at low prices, you have to get their very early in the morning when the crowd is yet to arrive. Mercato di Medicina is also a fun place to be having a feeling of a circus, where many activities are going on at the same time. Piazza Santo Stefano in Bologna is probably the most beautiful square you will find in the city. The place is covered in vintage stores, selling all kinds of items to customers like furniture, jewelry, books, antiques, etc. It occurs every month, on the 2nd weekend, with August excluded. When you’re tired of buying stuff and seeing the beauty of the market, you can go on see other places. Surrounding the Mercato antiquario market are beautiful churches with religious symbols. There is a pub called L’infedele, which is really nice and is frequented by tourists. They offer the best of beer and other cool drinks.
