The streets in Rome are so beautiful. We love them for all their atmosphere and for the shops. But without a doubt, the most charming street is Via Margutta. A very nice and quiet street where one can find several art galleries.Via Margutta, a narrow street full of history and romance, with its beginnings in the Middle Ages where local and foreign artists and craftsmen poured their skills in marble processing and painting, changing the look of the area that drew the artist’s attention from different countries, domestic and foreign.  Screening of the romantic movie “Roman Holiday” by American director William Wyler in 1953, had a major impact on Rome and the Via Margutta neighborhood, where a part of the film was shot there. Walking down this street I was attracted to the inscriptions on the houses with the names of artists, painters, sculptors in their former studios turned into apartments and shops a part of them. Via Margutta located between Piazza del Popolo and Piazza di Spagna is one of the most beautiful cobblestones in Rome with the most famous world art decor attracts the lovers with great thirst for the romantic stories of this street.  You’ll see great artists’ footsteps such as the famous director Federico Fellini, his wife, actress Giulietta Masina, architect Pietro Lombardi author of “Fontana delle Arti”, the studio used by Pablo Picasso, and art galleries of various kinds.
