If you have ever seen a panoramic photo of Florence it is very likely that it has been taken from Michelangelo Square. It is, without a doubt, the most famous panoramic observation place in the city. From this point you can see the entire old town and the nearby hills. There are usually always a lot of people and only at night you can enjoy the panorama relaxingly, although the best time is sunset or sunrise. It can be reached by car or with the bus number 12 or 13. You can also walk there, climbing the “Rampe del Poggi”.
