The tourism industry of Germany was responsible for the increase in the national GDP by 4.5% and the creation of some 2 million employment opportunities. The most popular though is cultural tourism, which include Hamburg, Munich, and Berlin as the most visited cities. In 2014 alone, Germany has accepted some 33 million foreign tourists.
