Attended by approximately two million people, this famous festival takes place before the Lenten Season in the streets of Rio de Janeiro and said to be the largest carnival in the world. This yearly event brings together people to celebrate with dancing, drinking and parading in colourful floats. Thousands of people grace the streets in costumes and perform altogether in an event that lasts for days.
