The construction of this famed castle dates back to the 6th century. Having a rich history, it can’t be denied that events during that span of time can result to ruins. Upon its restoration, the castle now sits on an island that is still connected via stone footbridge towards the mainland. In fact, due to its popularity, it has been featured in some Hollywood films, including The Highlander and The World Is Not Enough.
