This cheese is one of those that we are also bored of seeing in the supermarket and that many surely confuse with the Parmesan. To tell the truth, there is not much difference between the two, I have learned when documenting for this post, the main difference being the origin of the forage of the cows that give the milk and the time of healing of the cheese, that in the case of the Grana Padano is at least 8 months and for the Parmesan it’s 12. The Grana concept comes from the granular texture of the cheese and the term Padano means that it comes from the Po Valley. Click the next ARROW to see the next photo!
