2. Central Flea Market

Central Market or Mercato Centrale is situated in the neighborhood of San Lorenzo. This flea market is an indoor market hall made of iron and glass. Central Market is a typical Italian market with fresh fruits, fish, meat and other local products. If you wish to spend a day like a local this is definitely a place to visit. On the second of the market are many restaurants serving delicious Italian food.

3. San Lorenzo Outdoor Flea Market 

San Lorenzo Market is located in the same place as Central Market surrounding the building where the market is. It is the original leather market of the city where locals and visitors buy the best leathers in Florence. Make sure to spend some time there, as there is a huge variety of products and of course there are not all original leather. You will be able to find great bargains and good items.

4. Sant’ Ambrosio Flea Market 

Sant’ Ambrosio Flea Market is an outdoor and indoor market, located in the Piazza Ghiberti. It the place where you can find the authentic Italian spirit as many locals used to do their weekly shopping there. There is a variety of local products and fresh goods and heaven for those who want to taste the delicious Italian products.

5. Florence Antique Flea Market 

This antique market is located close to Sant’ Ambrosio Flea Market and it is the best reason to visit both. As its name says has a lot of antique items, including furniture, books, and home decoration. There are many collectors showing their creations and it is definitely the place where you will spend money but it worth it!
