4Heerstrasse, Bonn, Germany

When Alexander von Humboldt claimed that Bonn was the eighth wonder of the world he exaggerated, but it can not be denied that the famous geographer – as well as a humanist, naturalist and traveler – who knew such different places, as few did in his time, he said, it would be for something.Cherry Blossom Avenue in Bonn, Germany, something rare but believable. Somewhat rare because the climatic conditions in Germany do not allow me to imagine such a reaction of nature, thinking that cherry blossoms are so beautiful just as delicate. Something believable because I believed it when I saw it myself. It was truly a miracle, a fantastic thing, a giant cherry blossom tunnel where cherry trees planted on two sides of Heerstrasse street make romantic walks of different ages but especially young couples. The long string of cherry blossoms that snake between the old traditional apartments resembles the blood arteries that sweep through the city center giving it a rare charm, listing one of the most beautiful streets in Germany. Attention, I remind you that cherry blossoms lived short and this is about two weeks in April, thank you if the weather is good. There, don’t forget to go see the Beethoven house and the museum.
