According to Greek mythology, this was the place where Helen visited Paris before the Trojan War erupted. This has recently been excavated after being submerged 1,200 years underwater. There were also a number of shipwrecks found near the city, indicative that it was once a bustling port city and massive trading center, along with ancient artifacts.
