Minsk has been the battleground of many nationalities and has witnessed the spillage of blood and death. The dark past of this city is not devoid of supernatural and paranormal happenings which are very real. These are the scariest places you will ever visit in Minsk. The Skeletal house of Ratomka is a 21st-century house that was built by a businessman. The building is so scary that neighbors avoid walking close to it especially when it is sunset. The home has hands of skeletons protruding from the fence made of stone. The roofs are decorated with numerous devils and the ebony skulls around the dome of the house. Lohitsa Mansion

Lohitsa Mansion is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Minsk, and it has its fair share of ghost hauntings. The landlady of the mansion, Jadwiga Luban drowned in a river close to the mansion, and it is believed that her ghost still haunts the building. Legend has it that Jadwiga Luban was unhappily married and committed adultery with the local ruler in the province. Her death to this day is still a mystery. Nesvizh Fort

The Nesvizh Fort also called the Nesvizh castle is one of the most beautiful castles in Belarus, and it was once the abode of the royal family of Radzwill. The ghost of the Queen, Barbara Radzwill who was said to have been murdered by her mother-in-law has not rested since her death. She is popularly referred to as the Black Lady. Lake Naroch

Lake Naroch is one of Belarus’ postcard regions, and it is one of the best-wooded areas in the country. The natives claim ghosts haunt the woods. The woods according to the locals, witnessed so much bloodshed during the First World War. The battle caused the death of thousands of military men. There are numerous cemeteries with gravestones bearing no names. The restless spirits of the nameless soldiers visit the lake from time to time. The Lake has historical importance too because of the battles that have taken place there so it is definitely worth visiting if you want to experience the mystery. Mir Castle is also a tourist hotspot in Belarus, and it is situated at the Korelichi district. This castle is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it has a reputation for being an area that is continuously visited by ghosts. Locals have vowed to have seen skeletons of soldiers decked in armors and their weapons. The locals and some visitors have also reported seeing the spirit of a small girl child who is believed to be from a royal family. Golshany Fort

Golshany Fort is located at Osmyany in Belarus, and it is one of the most famous structures in the country. The Fort was erected when the Lithuanians ruled Belarus during the medieval era. A royal family inhabited the fort from Lithuania. The castle is believed to be haunted by the ghost of a black monk and a lady wearing a white dress. If you ever visit it you will notice a strange atmosphere through the ruins of the building, which makes it scary enough.
