The age-old city of Khiva, also called Khorasam has been in existence for more than 2000 years. Itchan Kala was the first site in Uzbekistan to be included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. Surrounded by fortified brick walls, it is packed with historic monuments and amazing places. It is one of the most historical and with great importance cities in Uzbekistan.
