Translated in English to “Tomb of the Commander,” this mausoleum of the Mongol conqueror, Timur. Gur-e-Amir features an attractive fluted azure dome. The edifice is also where two sons and grandsons of Timur were laid to rest. This temple is amazing and has a lot of sites to visit.
