Levoča (UNESCO World Heritage site) boasts of having the world’s highest wooden altar. This incredible work was constructed by Master Paul. Found in St. James Church, the remarkable alter, 18.6 m high and 6 m wide was created without the use of any nail. The architecture of the building will take your breath away.
