There are also many museums and galleries in Bath holding thousands of years of history and civilization. Here are the best of those museums. Opened in 1900 to commemorate Queen Victoria’s diamond jubilee, the public museum has ever since been an important place for the people of England and Bath. There are two floors in the museum with an impressive collection of permanent and temporary exhibitions.
