Bangladesh is popularly known as the playground of seasons, and the reason is not far-fetched. The country has a total number of six seasons; this is in deep contrast with the regular four seasons that are known all over the world. The names of these seasons are; Grismo which means summer, Barsha which means rain, Sharat which means autumn, Hemanto which means cool, Sheet which means winter and Banshoto which means spring.
