Founded in 1806 by a father and daughter team, the name of this theater was not the original one. It was used to be called “Sans Pareil” which means ‘Without Compare” in English. Not only does it show musicals, but also, it also specialized in comedy. It was renamed the Adelphi Theatre in 1819 and since then, it continued to offer musicals and comedy.
