Every year, St. Petersburg celebrates this arts festival during the season of the midnight sun. During this time of the year, tourists and locals can enjoy walks along the river banks anytime of the day. It starts with the Scarlet Sails celebration and is filled with dances from performers and songs from musicians. There are also operas and classical ballets to be enjoyed.
