Located on a rocky mountain and surrounded by cliffs, this medieval city is another must-see in Switzerland. This city, which crosses the Sarine River and divides into the upper and lower parts, is notable for its old town full of Gothic facades from the 15th century, in which the Cathedral of San Nicolás stands out. In addition to the 15 bridges that cross the river, including the beautiful Pont du Milieu and Pont du Berne, its medieval fountains stand out in many of its squares.
