It has a range of about 55 km, with about thirty peaks, from six thousand to eight thousand meters high, bounded on the west by the mouth of the river Kali Gandaki, where it is the deepest canyon in the world. Annapurna I (Main) 8,091 m is the highest peak of the Annapurna Mountains, and the most dangerous peak of Nepal. The upper part of the Annapurna peak is limestone, which is clear evidence of its origin from the bottom of the ocean, which was erected during tectonic action millions of years ago. Annapurna’s topographic layout with numerous peaks, with a large number of valleys, which are nests of numerous glaciers, unpredictable and frequent change of weather, are a serious danger to mountain climbers. Its unusual structure of the area, frequent avalanches of snow, heavy rainfall and long-lasting snowstorms, have been the main causes of death in the mountains, which according to statistics is the most dangerous mountain in the world.
