Contemporary art is part of the lifestyle of the people of Naples. So much of this can be found here at the Museo MADRE. Since 2005, visitors from all over the world have experienced the amazing collection that is preserved inside this museum located in the 9th-century Palazzo Donnaregina. On the third floor, the museum hosts temporary artwork exhibitions that are characterized by very creative presentations. There are many artworks in the museum, but one of the most impressive is the Ave Ovo. It is the work of Francesco Clemente, and it depicts the ancient symbols of Naples with the use of frescoes and mosaics.
