Finally, the very popular Babbo Natale. It is the name that Santa Claus receives in Italy, the character that connects with ancient pagan solar myths, syncretized with Nicolás de Mira / Bari and that in the United States ended his transformation into Santa Claus. As in the rest of the world, his figure is widespread in Italy, but in addition to competing against Santa Lucia and Befana, in some regions he does so against Bambino Gesù himself.
