The Teatro was an inspiration for the Colosseum. But unlike the Colosseum that is a circle amphitheater, this one is a semi-circle. Julius Caesar commissioned the Teatro which is now one of Rome’s top tourists’ sites, but he was killed even before the construction began. Click the next ARROW to see the next photo!
