During the Christmas season, the churches, houses and the town squares have nativity scene displays to commemorate the day Jesus Christ was born in the manger. In this country, St. Nicholas is “Babbo Natale” for the people and they have a tradition of giving presents during Christmas while exchange gifts are done on January 6, in time for Epiphany.
