Yemen houses an age-old small city, Shibam which dates back to the third century and it is known for its revered and unique structures. Famous as the oldest skyscraper city in the world, Shibam has antique mud-brick tall buildings. There are around 500 of such high buildings in the city, and some of them are as high as 11 stories.
