Americans embark on egg hunting during Easter, but Czech citizens organize their annual Easter festivity of fertility. In one of the festivities, boys take whips to the bottom of girls. This is very symbolic, and it is perceived to help fertility. Also, in the first day of May, male citizens are expected to kiss their female partners under the trees of Cherry blossoms.
