This book written by Laura Corona is set in the 18th century and explores the period’s music scene. It is the perfect gift for people who love classical music and the beauty of Venice, the magical city set upon the water. His real name was Antonio Lucio Vivaldi, and it was in the city of Venice that he was born although the exact date of birth is not certain, but it is believed that it was March 4, 1678. Antonio Vivaldi is known by the nickname of il Prete Rosso because he was a redhead and a priest in the church. Vivaldi suffered from asthma. Many times he had to leave when he was celebrating mass due to his frequent attacks. At the funeral of Vivaldi, held in the cathedral of Vienna, the children of the choir of the cathedral sang, among whom was the future composer Joseph Haydn.
