This popular and weird festival takes place in the Devon village where a man donned in sackcloth and with a mask is being chased by “Grenadiers” wearing ribbons. There will be times where the “Earl” will be caught and shot at until a Hobby Horse comes to the rescue. It ends as the hunted is thrown to the sea. Click the next ARROW to see the next image!
