The pyramid of Gebel Barkal was known as the pyramids of Kush, which include around 200 pyramids. This group of pyramids were found south of the Egyptian border in Karima town at the northern state of Sudan. At the time of the Meroitic Kingdom, Gebel Barkal was a royal cemetery.
