Since Australia is the home to aborigines, it is not surprising that there are hundreds of Aboriginal languages spoken in this country that is also comprised of the island of Tasmania, the Australian continent and some islands. About 110 languages are spoken by older people and 250 Indigenous Australian languages were spoken before and with around 20 of these languages are spoken on a daily basis by all age groups.
