Set on the south side of the Floating Harbour is this 13th century church got its name from the red cliffs where it has been built. Queen Elizabeth I described St. Mary as the “finest parish church in England” when was in Bristol in 1574. Found inside are the tombs of William Canynge and Admiral Sir William Penn.
