Although it is often mistaken as an island, Railay is indeed a peninsula and is only accessible by boat. This destination is the location of Phra Nang Beach, one of the natural wonders of the land. A visit to Railay will take you to beautiful views of limestone structures, beaches and dense vegetation. This spectacular arena, the most famous in the world for rock climbing fanatics, this rare beauty of nature is hidden behind the magnificent limestone cliffs carelessly dumped on the Rai Leh Peninsula, on the shores of the Andaman Coast. It can only be reached by sea in 10 minutes from Ao Nang and in 30 minutes from Krabi. The peninsula that gives the impression of an island has four beaches connected to each other by footpaths through tropical forests such as East Railay, West Railay, Phra Nang and Ton Sai. Of all these beaches, Phra Nang’s white sandy beach at the southwestern end of the peninsula, hidden by magnificent limestone cliffs with spectacular stalagmite caves, is an amazing creation of nature. A perfect combination of mountain environment with the white sandy beach, the turquoise sea, and the lush tropical forest, which hides a large number of species, birds, tropical lizards without forgetting the many monkeys. Enjoying the sunshine and crystal clear turquoise water, boat trips, snorkeling and diving on the fossilized underwater rocks, you will see various groups of climbers climbing limestone cliffs.
