Located in Rome, this is the largest and most famous amphitheater in the world during the Roman era, which was completed in 80 AD. It was designed with at least 80 entrances and the capacity to hold about 50,000 spectators, who were then protected from the heat of the sun and rain by sails called “velarium”.
