The Monolithos Castle was built by the Venetians in 1480 on top of a large rock that rises more than 300 feet off the ground. The castle itself is in ruins, but it’s still worth a visit because of its breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding islets. Click the next ARROW to see the next image!
