Likewise known as the Flavian Amphitheater, the Colosseum or Coliseum is an oval amphitheater that you can find right at the center of Rome. It was made of sand and concrete, which was once used as a site for gladiatorial games. The Colosseum is now the most recognizable classical buildings in Rome.
