This location has a great history that dates back to the Roman Empire in 122A.D. when the Emperor Hadrian was able to build an immense wall. This was stretched more than 80 Roman miles from the east to the west coast of Britain. In fact, this structure was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.
