The Remains of the Day is a British-American-French-German drama film. It was adapted from the Booker Prize-winning novel and starred Anthony Hopkins as James Stevens and Emma Thompson as Miss Kenton. It was nominated for 8 academy awards including best actor, best actress, and best picture. It tells the story of a butler who, during the years leading to the Second World War, sacrificed everything for his boss but later realized his employer is unfaithful. A really amazing movie, and definitely you will love Bath from the beautiful scenery.
