If you are more interested in ancient Italy, this museum is the right one. Instead of Renaissance art, you will find mosaics and frescoes from Pompeii and Herculaneum, such as the famous “Attenti al Cane” (“Watch out for the dog”), as well as the frescoes at Villa Papyri.
