Brazil stands out as one of the beautiful countries in the world with so many haunted places plagued with paranormal activities and ghost tales. These are the most haunted areas in Brazil. Witnesses have reported the presence of some eerie activities along this stretch of road. The ghost of a blonde woman stands at the side of the road. She is frequently seen jumping up and down trying to get the attention of moving vehicles by waving her hands. Drivers who get flagged down by the blonde lady said that she usually begged them to help an accident victim lying very close to a crashed car. On arriving at the site, the drivers discover that the accident victim was the same woman that waved at them to stop. The Road to Victoria is located at Campos, Rio de Janeiro and many truck drivers who ply this road have reported about the ghosts they have encountered. It is said that a group of individuals usually appear from nowhere and start crossing the front of vehicles. Scared truck drivers who do not want to hit the ‘pedestrians’ slam their breaks only to notice that the individuals have disappeared as quickly as they showed up. The Petropolis Museum also called the Imperial Museum of Brazil was built in the mid- 19th century. The museum was built in the palace of Emperor Dom Pedros II. It is believed that the ghost of the Emperor is still trapped in the museum. His phantom has been seen at the dead of the night around the palace gardens. The Dream Beach is located in Sao Paulo, Itanhaem and it is really a creepy area. Dream Beach is the dwelling place of the ghosts of a couple who died during an accident at the beach. Sea loungers have reported seeing the ghosts of a couple walking along the beach or figures coming out of the sea. The bodies on these ghosts look rotten. Brasilia City Hall is located at Brasilia and it is the resident home of a poltergeist. There have been reports of the opening of cabinets, slamming of windows and doors shutting by themselves when no one is inside. It is believed that the Brasilia City Hall was once a mortuary where thousands of bodies were preserved before they were committed to mother Earth. Joelma Building

Joelma building is the most haunted place in Brazil. Over 486 persons died in this 25 story building when it went up in flames in 1975. Due to the tragedy, the building was reconstructed and renamed Praca Da Bandeira. Visitors have claimed that many ghosts are roaming different halls and offices of the building. Rumor has it that a mystery exists within this building, the mystery of the 13 souls which are said to be the souls of 13 victims who were caught up in flames in the elevator still haunt the building.
