The country has only three (3) TV channels; two of which are only broadcasted during the weekends. The soap operas of South Korean are smuggled in for entertainment. All radios and TVs in every home are tuned to state channels; anyone who is caught listening to or watching foreign broadcasts faces severe punishments.
