Truth is, only a few individuals have ever crossed this bridge and survived, just to tell their scary experience on their social media accounts! Now, are you asking why it is so scary? It is dangerously iced over for most times of the year, with a width that is not enough for a car without any railings. The Vitim River Bridge, built in 1980 in Siberia, over the Vitim River, the main tributary of the Lena River, is a narrow wooden plinth, perched on a metal skeleton, with no side rails. The narrow Vitim Bridge, in the moments when the river swells with the abundant water, looks like a wooden platform floating in the river, which is very scary and very dangerous to cross. This old bridge, also known as the Kuandinsky Bridge, was used to connect the rest of the area by the inhabitants of the village of Kuanda. Although crossing the bridge during the winter is very difficult due to frost and snow where the wood layer becomes very slippery, brave and skilled drivers cross the bridge with their cars, showing care for the strait and the empty spaces of the bridge. The Vitim River Bridge, about half a kilometer long, 15 meters high and about 4.5 meters wide, has never been renovated for decades. This has led to its decomposition and is considered one of the most dangerous roads in the world. Click the next ARROW to see the next image!
