After the approval of tree felling was made to about 10,000 trees in the past few years, it has almost cost the destruction of the forest. Thus, the locals fought for the forest, defending some of the oldest trees in Europe. You can walk among majestic fir trees, reaching about 50m in height and 5.5m in circumference.
