The church was founded on 1137, but its construction stretched up to the 14th century because of financial troubles. Today, it’s one of the top sights in Bergamo, attracting numerous visitors because of its Lombard Romanesque architecture and its unique structure (the church doesn’t have a main entrance but rather side entries guarded by marble lions). Click the next ARROW to see the next image!
