This event commemorates the ending of the Second World War in Italy. It’s usually characterized by celebrations, ceremonies, and re-enactments. Many places are opened and offering great fun experience including festivals, funfair, parties, and food events. April 25 is also the feast day for Saint Mark, a patron of Venice.
