Ljubljana is the capital of Slovenia It is the center of commerce and education. The meaning of the city’s name is “Loved One’. Myth has it that upon return from the Golden Fleece with his Argonauts, Jason struck down a monster in this area. The monster changed to a dragon which happens to be the city’s coat of arms.
